Our Story

TruQuest started as the Savory Hub of South Africa in 2013 by joining an international community of regenerative land managers restoring the world’s grasslands. Our vision is to be part of the regenerative solution in Africa.

As a family-owned business based in the Eastern Cape, we are passionate about healing the land and helping farmers begin their regenerative journey to create lasting change.

Land monitoring is the first step in understanding how small shifts in management can bring significant change. During our monitoring activity, farmers and monitors walk together on the farm, looking at the land through the lens of the four ecosystem processes.

What we offer

TruQuest provides land monitoring using Savory’s Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV) protocol, and in partnership with Healing Hooves, we offer regenerative land management training and consulting.

Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV)

EOV is a land monitoring protocol that helps farmers manage their land and livestock to increase land productivity. By observing ecological indicators with an EOV monitor, farmers learn to see and understand what is happening on their land. The EOV data collected gives land managers the insights needed for improved management and entry into the Land to Market programme.
